Many versions have been released every six months to ease the challenges the development team faces. The new features in every release are an add-on and do not break any of the previous changes. Laravel 9 and its versions are an upgrade of Laravel 8. x; many changes are introduced to support symphony 6.0 components, filesystem 3.0, and many other previous implementations. Other features which will get improvements and updates in Laravel 9. x include:

  • Symfony mailer
  • Route: list output
  • Scout database driver
  • Mutator syntax

The laravel nine release replaced the swift mailer used to send mails earlier. If you have been working with the older version with a fast mailer, then update the application or connect with any laravel development service providers to help you upgrade. Another major update is for the developers who use MySQL and PostgreSQL in their Laravel application development. The ‘full text’ method can be used with Laravel 9 to generate full-text indexes. It also has a new Laravel Scout database engine that enables capabilities for full-text search. You can also find Bootstrap 5 pagination views to help you easily add pagination to every page in your app.
